Bengaluru, March 18: Women’s Day was celebrated by the Bangalore District Rajput Sabha Women’s Wing on Sunday (March 15). Director, producer, film and television actress and Karnataka Rajyotsava awardee Vijayalakshmi Singh was the special guest at the event.
On March 15, at the Rajput Sangha premises in Vasanthnagar, Bengaluru, under the leadership of Chief Convener Shobha, the Sangha’s Women’s Team Division celebrated Women’s Day in a special way under the patronage of Durga Balajisingh, Madhumatibai,
Komal, Lakshmi R Singh, Asha, Reka, Rajput Sangha President Ajitsingh, Vice President T.R. Balaji Singh, Genaral Secretary and Advocate R. Balaji Singh, Treasurer Dinesh Singh, along with many members, family and relatives participated in the event.
Director, producer, film and television actress and Karnataka Rajyotsava awardee Vijayalakshmi Singh participated as the special guest in the Women’s Day program.
Mrs. Pramila L Singh, wife of late B.G. Leeladhar Singh, senior member of the women’s wing, who worked hard for the development of Rajput Sabha, and Manjula Singh, wife of late R. Prakash Singh, and Shivrani Bai, wife of late Saravan Singh, were felicitated.
Fun activities and games were conducted on Women’s Day. Prizes were given to the participants. The Women’s Day celebration organized by Rajput Sangam Women’s Wing was held on a grand scale. Delicious food was served to all those who participated in the afternoon festival.
