Bengaluru, October 3: Devotional hymns were sung on the 10th day of Navaratri special puja at Sri Devi Sallapuramma and Sri Devi Renuka Ellamma Temples in JP Nagar 2nd Phase Marenahalli.
Navaratri Utsav will be held from September 22 to October 2 at Sri Devi Sallapuramma and Sri Devi Renuka Ellamma Temples, Marenahalli, JP Nagar 2nd Phase, Bangalore.
After this, various decorations were made to the idols of Sallapuramma and Renuka Ellamma and special pooja was performed from September 22. On the 10th day, Tuesday evening, October 1st, Mahishasuramarthini was celebrated for Chalapuramma and Renuka Ellamma.
The Shivaram family and the people of Marenahalli jointly performed a special pooja. Former corporator Chandrasekhar Raju and many others participated in the puja. Devotional songs were sung during the special puja.
