Bengaluru: On Friday, 05.09.2025, at the R Ashok Auditorium, MLA Bhavan, Banashankari, Mrs. Shubha and Mr. Vasuki Acharya celebrated the birthday of their late son in a different way by recognizing the organizations engaged in social service and giving alms. After the prayers of the Shubhankarothi Maitreyi Gurukul team, Mr. Ravikusubi welcomed everyone. The program began with the lighting of lamps by the dignitaries.
Mrs. Shubha Vasuki spoke and thanked many people who gave her courage and comfort during the difficult and challenging time of her son’s departure from the Kumbh Mela. He said that the cooperation given by MPs Tejaswi Surya, Brigadier S P Singh, Lieutenant Colonel Satish Sharma and colleagues from the State Bank of India was great. He shared some memories of his son Anthriksh, who was always an inspiration and engaged in art and cultural service and lived a creative life.

He had a desire to grow as an actor-producer. He did not want to work as someone else’s assistant. He said that he had big dreams of building his own empire that could provide employment to many. He spoke about the film Mylapore, which Anthriksh acted in and produced. He said that he is the inspiration for the social service programs that we are conducting today on his birthday.
A video of Lieutenant Colonel Satish Mishra’s speech was shown. He said that Anthriksh’s death was a divine death and he praised MP Tejaswi Surya for showing how much help can be done if one has a people-oriented mind. Along with the clips spoken by Anthriksh’s friends and family, short videos of the organizations receiving Mangaladan were also shown.

Gaana Kalabhushan Dr. R. K. Padmanabhar, who was present at the program, praised the social service of Mrs. Shubha and Shri Vasuki Acharya in singing and wished them well. Writer Mrs. Deepa Phadke spoke and told the story of Panchali forgiving Ashwathama, who lost her children, and said that such is the heart of a mother. Forgetting sorrow and filling up with strength is humanity.
The purpose of life is to take a step towards becoming a human being. May Shubha and Vasuki be active in their social service and wish them well in the coming days. Shri Ben Shri Ravindra, President of Samanvaya Samiti Kannadave Satya Pratishthan, spoke and said that Shubha and Vasuki Acharya are multi-talented.

They are engaged in social service with one spirit. They have faced difficult situations with self-confidence. Positive help comes to those who have a positive mind, he said. He praised the humanity of Yogpati Shri Chetak, who accompanied the astronaut’s body until it reached home. He said that the light of the astronaut’s flame will always be with us. The soul has no death.
The program was narrated by Shri Rangarajan and at the end, Mrs. Renuka Desai expressed her gratitude to everyone. Dinner was arranged at the end of the program.
