Bengaluru, May 28: Vidyashilp Education Group marked a milestone with the grand inauguration of the Dr. P. Dayananda Pai Auditorium at a launch ceremony that was held today, at the Vidyashilp Academy campus situated at Yelahanka in Bengaluru.
The event commenced with a Guard of Honour by NCC students for the Chief Guest Shri. Syed Abdul Nazeer, the Hon’ble Governor of Andhra Pradesh. Followed by it was the formal inauguration of the Dr. P. Dayananda Pai Auditorium by the Chief Guest in the presence of Dr. Dayananda Pai himself and other senior Trustees of the Vidyashilp Education Group. The auditorium is set tol serve as a center for art and culture, shaping the next generation of performing artists.
The event also witnessed the launch of “From Ground Up” a biography on Dr. P. Dayanand Pai, a philanthropist, educationist, and Founding Member of Century Real Estate & Vidyashilp Education Group. Dr. Pai’s contribution to Karnataka’s educational infrastructure is immense and the book explores his inspirational life journey and his success story.
The ceremony featured a captivating video presentation showcasing the life story of Dr. P. Dayananda Pai, paying homage to his invaluable contributions to education. The event also provided a platform for engaging presentations, including a unique glimpse into the mission, vision, and experience of Vidyashilp Academy by its students. Dr. P. Dayanand Pai shed light on the distinctive aspects of education imparted by the Academy.

The newly constructed Dr. P. Dayananda Pai Auditorium will serve as an epicenter for Vidyashilp Academy’s academic and socio-cultural activities. The auditorium has a built-up area of over 16,000 sq. ft. and is designed to accommodate over 426 individuals, features a spacious, tiered seating arrangement, ensuring excellent sightlines for every attendee.
The auditorium is equipped with state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems, enhancing the quality of performances and presentations. Its elegant, modern design incorporates comfortable seating, ample legroom, and acoustically optimized walls. The stage is expansive, flanked by heavy velvet curtains, and includes a professional-grade backstage area for performers and speakers.
