‘ನಗರವನ್ನು ಸ್ವಚ್ಛವಾಗಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು’, ‘ನಗರವನ್ನು ಹಸಿರಾಗಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು’ ಎಂಬ ಥೀಮ್‌ ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ನಗರದ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸುಸ್ಥಿರತೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಬೀದಿ ಯೋಧರು ವಹಿಸುವ ಅನಿವಾರ್ಯ ಪಾತ್ರದ ರೋಮಾಂಚಕ ಅಂಗೀಕಾರವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಹಸಿರು ದಳ ಮತ್ತು ಗ್ರೀನ್ ಮೈಕ್‌ನ ಬೆಂಬಲದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾದ ಈ ಸಂಜೆ, ಹಸಿರು ಭವಿಷ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲು ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವ ಸಾಮೂಹಿಕ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನದ ಪ್ರಬಲ ಜ್ಞಾಪನೆಯಾಗಿತ್ತು.

ಮನ್ನಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿಯ ಸಂಜೆಯಾದ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಸರವಾದಿಗಳು, ನಾಗರಿಕ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು, ಕಾರ್ಪೊರೇಟ್ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು, ಆಚರಣೆ, ಕಥೆ ಹೇಳುವಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ವಕಾಲತ್ತುಗಳ ಮಿಶ್ರಣವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಸಂಜೆಯ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಅಂಶವೆಂದರೆ “ವಾಲ್ ಆಫ್ ಫೇಮ್” ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಥೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬಗಳಿಗೆ ಮೀಸಲಾಗಿರುವ ಶಾಶ್ವತ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆ ಸ್ಥಳ. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀದಿ ಯೋಧರು, ಅವರ ಹೋರಾಟಗಳು, ಸ್ಥಿತಿಸ್ಥಾಪಕತ್ವ ಮತ್ತು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ತ್ಯಾಜ್ಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಣಾ ಪರಿಸರ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

Furthermore, a poster-making contest was held, allowing children to showcase their interpretation of a sustainable, plastic-free planet creatively. The school also arranged a tree-planting event, with students enthusiastically participating by planting saplings throughout the school premises, enhancing the prospects for a more environmentally friendly tomorrow. This event also educated the participants about the importance of trees and fostered a deeper connection between the school community and the environment.
