The branch head has also assured to extend necessary support to the Senior citizens

Mrs. Juhi Smitha Sinha, Chief General Manager, Bangalore Region, State Bank of India, who was Chief Guest, distributed kits to the children and said that the children should have a definite vision from now onwards for a bright future. In this direction, besides getting traditional education they should also develop skills right away. There are plenty of opportunities to become entrepreneurs. There is a high demand for jobs in the banking sector also, she said. As an executive representing State Bank of India, she praised the efforts of the Mysore Bank Education Society, in successfully running the school over seven decades as well as the support being extended by the Rotary Club to Rani Saraladevi Educational Institutions.

Rotarian Arvind Salampuria, a renowned enterpreneur and literacy kit sponsorer, spoke and recalled the inseparable ties between Rani Saraladevi Educational Institution and the Rotary Club and said that the Club will continue to provide more such supports in future as well.

Smt. Indira Raghu, President of Rotary Prime, delivered the introductory speech. B. The members of Samnaviya Samiti Kannadave Satya Pratisthana WhatsApp Forum will present the literary works of their members on the second Saturday of every month under the chairmanship of a member, film it and publish it on the YouTube channel, all the presentations in PDF format along with suitable colorful and attractive photographs will be made available to all literature lovers by publishing them on its website for free.

First started on 15.8.1999 at a member’s house Sahitya Dasoha was held at member’s homes until the arrival of Covid and then through Google Meet and the 250th Sahitya Dasoha was held on 14.06.2026. Mr. Mallepuram Venkatesh, former chancellor of Karnataka Sanskrit University, famous Kannada writer, was present at the celebration today.

The function was presided over by Sri Ben Sri Ravindra, Chairman of the Coordination Committee Kannadaway Sathya Pratisthan. The program began with prayers by Smt. Manjula V Marathe and the Chief Guest and Foundation office bearers lighting the Jyoti and placing flowers on the portrait of Principal Hcheske.

Mr. S. Dhirendra, Member of the Foundation’s Steering Committee, welcomed everyone. Executive Board Member of the Foundation Mr Sreerangarajan then gave a comprehensive introduction to all the activities of the foundation in his introductory speech explaining the path Sahitya Dasoha has taken. Former Bihar Minister and party founder Mukesh Sahani officially launched the state unit of the party at a press conference and convention held at a private hotel in Bengaluru. The party expressed confidence in emerging as a new political force in the state by contesting in the upcoming Gram, Taluk, and Zilla Panchayat elections.

Struggle for Laborers’ Rights.
Addressing the event, party founder Mukesh Sahani recalled his impoverished background and his journey of political struggle. He stated that having been born into a fisherman’s family and having grown up working in Mumbai for a daily wage of just thirty rupees, he entered politics for the rights and power of the exploited society. He clarified that his fight will not stop until the fishermen and backward communities—known by hundreds of names across the country including Nishad, Koli, and Mallah—get appropriate reservation and representation.

Thundering that he has never compromised for the sake of power, he defended his decision not to compromise with the BJP even if it meant losing his ministerial position. He poignantly remarked that even if they live in a hut, they will remain kings (Badshahs), but they will never be slaves in anyone’s palace for the sake of power.
