The event will be taking place on September 21st, 2024, at LuLu Mall Rajajinagar, this grand festival promises to be a captivating showcase of Kerala’s rich cultural heritage and traditions.
The event will feature a mesmerizing lineup of performances that will transport attendees to the heart of Kerala.
Graceful Mohiniyattam dancers will glide across the stage, their movements evoking the mythical tale of the enchantress Mohini.
The lively Pulikali performers, adorned in vibrant tiger-striped costumes, will entertain the crowd with their energetic dance.
The rhythmic Thiruvathaira kali, a ritual dance form, will fill the air with its infectious beats, while the melodious
Chandamelam ensemble will weave a tapestry of traditional Kerala music. And towering above it all will be the majestic presence of Mahabali, the legendary king whose annual homecoming is celebrated during Onam.
In addition to the captivating performances, the Lulu Onam Habba 2024 will also feature two exciting competitions. The Pookalam competition will showcase the artistic talents of participants as they create intricate and colorful floral designs, while the Kerala Shrimaan and Shrimathi contest will celebrate the elegance and charm of traditional Kerala attire. Each competition will have three winners – first, second, and third place – ensuring that the best of the best are recognized for their exceptional skills and creativity.
