Special buses from Mysuru Road Bus Station will be exclusively operated towards Mysuru, Hunsur,
Piriyapatna, Virajpet, Kushalanagar, Madikeri.
All premier Special buses will be operated from BMTC Bus Station, Shanthinagar (TTMC) to Madurai,
Kumbakonam, Chennai, Coimbatore, Tiruchi, Palakkad, Thrissur, Ernakulam, Khozikode and other
places in Tamil Nadu and Kerala state.
Facility is provided to book computerized reservation tickets in advance for the special buses.

A discount of 5% on the fare will be extended, if four or more passenger’s book tickets in a single
ticket and a discount of 10% is offered on the return journey ticket if onward and return journey
tickets are booked simultaneously.
Advance Reservation of tickets for the services of KSRTC can be booked through the booking
counters established by KSRTC at important cities of neighbouring States i.e. Tamilnadu, Andhra
Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, Puduchery, Maharashtra and Goa State.

Sale of Rice under OMSS(D) has a motive of keeping the retail price under check. Govt. of India has fixed the reserve price of Rice at Rs 2,800/- per quintal (w.e.f. 01.08.2024 to 31.03.2025) for all crop years excluding transportation cost and taxes. Incremental cost (Fortification cost) of Rs.73/- per quintal shall be added to the reserve price for Fortified Rice. APMC fees 0.60% is payable on the sale price.

Bidder has to electronically deposit EMD calculated @ 5% of the cost of stocks intended to be purchased before 2.00 PM on TUESDAY every week (Day before the e-auction date) and the e-auction will be conducted from 11.00 AM to 2.00 PM every WEDNESDAY by M-Junction.

The EMD deposited by the successful bidders shall be adjusted towards the cost of stocks and applicable taxes. The successful bidder(s) shall deposit remaining cost of the stocks along with applicable taxes within seven (07) working days from the next date of e-auction. In an effort to improve the efficiency and transparency of LPG distribution, Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has initiated a pilot project at the Madanpur Khadar Bottling Plant in Delhi. This project involves tagging LPG cylinders with QR codes to enable precise tracking and inventory management. As of December 7, 2023, IOCL has successfully dispatched over 165,000 QR-tagged 14.2 kg cylinders to two distributors in the Delhi market.

This QR code system is part of a broader strategy by public sector oil marketing companies (OMCs) to prevent the theft and illegal sale of lightweight LPG cylinders. Key measures include:

• Weighing and Sealing: Bottled cylinders are weighed and sealed with tamper-evident seals.
• Quality Control: 10% of cylinders undergo statistical quality control.
• Pre-delivery Checks: Cylinders are checked at bottling plants before delivery.
• Portable Scales: Delivery personnel carry portable weighing scales to verify cylinder weight at delivery points.
• Inspections and Awareness Campaigns: OMC officers conduct voluntary inspections and public awareness campaigns to ensure compliance and educate consumers.

Despite these benefits, some gas agency owners and hawkers from public sector units (PSUs) have opposed the new distribution system. They have not been cooperating and have even gone on strike in protest. However, it is crucial to recognize that customers have the right to wait and verify that the connection has been properly completed before accepting the delivery.

In addition to enhancing cylinder management, the Direct Benefit Transfer for LPG (DBTL) scheme, implemented in January 2015, ensures subsidies are directly transferred to customers’ bank accounts, either through Aadhaar Transfer Compliant (ATC) or Bank Transfer Compliant (BTC) modes. Since August 2021, these payments have been managed through the Public Financial Management System (PFMS), which provides a real-time, reliable management information system.

This system has helped eliminate ghost accounts, duplicate accounts, and dormant accounts, significantly curbing the misuse of subsidized LPG for commercial purposes. As a result, over 4 crore domestic LPG connections have been blocked due to missing or duplicate connections, and more than 1.1 crore consumers have voluntarily waived their subsidies under the “GiveItUp” campaign.

Call for Broader Implementation

We urge the government to expedite the nationwide implementation of QR code tracking for all LPG cylinders. This technology will play a crucial role in:

• Reducing Illegal Sales: Preventing the black market sale of LPG cylinders.
• Enhancing Safety: Reducing the number of domestic accidents caused by unauthorized storage and handling.
• Increasing Revenue: Ensuring proper taxation and preventing loss of revenue due to illegal activities.

During our recent conference, we highlighted the significant price difference between commercial and domestic LPG usage, which often leads to black marketing and illegal storage of 14.2 kg cylinders. ಇದರಿಂದ ಸುಮಾರು 35 ಸಾವಿರ ಪೌರಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರಿಗೆ ಸೇವಾಭದ್ರತೆಯಿಂದ ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಭಾರತದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸಹ ಗುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಪದ್ಧತಿ ರದ್ದಾಗಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ನಮ್ಮ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತ್ರ ಗುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಪದ್ಧತಿ ರದ್ದಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ.

ಕಳೆದ ಬಾರಿ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪ್ರಣಾಳಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಅಧಿಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದರೆ ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಯ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತಾ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪೌರಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರನ್ನು ಖಾಯಂ ಮಾಡುವುದಾಗಿ ಆಶ್ವಾಸನೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದು, ಅದರಂತೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಮಹಾಸಂಘದ ಹೋರಾಟದ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂದಿನ ವಿರೋಧ ಪಕ್ಷದ ನಾಯಕರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಶ್ರೀ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ರವರು ಖುದ್ದು ಬಂದು ನಮ್ಮ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಬಂದ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪೌರಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರನ್ನು ಖಾಯಂ ಮಾಡುವುದಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ.

ಅದರಂತೆ ಈಗ ಬಡ್ಡೆಟ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ 24005 ಜನ ಪೌರಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರನ್ನು ಖಾಯಂಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಅನುಮೋದಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಉಳಿಕೆ ಪೌರಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರನ್ನು ಹಂತ ಹಂತವಾಗಿ ಖಾಯಂಗೊಳಿಸುವುದಾಗಿ ಘೋಷಿಸಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಹಾಗೆ 592 ಒಳಚರಂಡಿ ಸಹಾಯಕ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರನ್ನು ಖಾಯಂ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಂತಹ ಸನ್ಮಾನ್ಯ ಶ್ರೀ.ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ರವರಿಗೆ, ಉಪಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಡಿ.ಕೆ.ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ರವರಿಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಚಿವ ಸಂಪುಟಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಪೌರಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಹೃತ್ತೂರ್ವಕ ಅಭಿನಂದನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ.

ಹಾಗೆ ಹಿಂದಿನ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಆದೇಶದಂತೆ ಗುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಪದ್ಧತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ (ಜೀತಪದ್ಧತಿ) ಕೆಲಸ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುವ ಲಾರಿ, ಆಟೋ ವಾಹನ ಚಾಲಕರುಗಳು, ಹೆಲ್ಪರ್‌ಗಳು ಕೆ.ಎಂ.ಸಿ ಕಾಯ್ದೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಪೌರಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರೆ ಆಗಿದ್ದು ಗುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಪದ್ಧತಿಯನ್ನು ರದ್ದು ಮಾಡಿ ನೇರವೇತನ ಪಾವತಿ ಮಾಡಿ ಎಂದು ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಒತ್ತಾಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಈ ಕೂಡಲೇ ನೇರಪಾವತಿ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿಸಲು ಈ ಮೂಲಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರೆಸ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಪತ್ರಿಕಾ ಗೋಷ್ಠಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಾಸಂಘದ

ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ಮಹಾರಾಜರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಯದುವಂಶದ ರಾಜಋಷಿ ನಾಲ್ವಡಿ ಕೃಷ್ಣರಾಜ ಒಡೆಯರ್ ಬಹದ್ದೂರ್ ಅವರ ಸುವರ್ಣ ಆಡಳಿತ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ದಿವಾನರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಸರ್ ಎಂ ವಿಶ್ವೇಶ್ವರಾಯ ಅವರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಂತೆ ಈ ಬೃಹತ್ ಉದ್ಯಮವನ್ನು 1923 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಎರಕಹೊಯ್ದ ಕಬ್ಬಿಣ, ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಕೊಳವೆ ಹಾಗೂ ರೋಲಿಂಗ್ ಮಿಲ್ಫ್ ಮತ್ತು ಸಿಮೆಂಟ್ ಪ್ಲಾಂಟ್ ಅನ್ನು ನಂತರ ಆರಂಭಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಪ್ರಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಖಾನೆಯನ್ನು ಮೈಸೂರು ಐರನ್ ಅಂಡ್ ಸ್ಟೀಲ್ ವರ್ಕ್ಸ್ ಎಂದು ನಾಮಕರಣ ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು. 1975 ರಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶ್ವೇಶ್ವರಾಯ ಐರನ್ ಅಂಡ್ ಸ್ಟೀಲ್ ಲಿಮಿಟೆಡ್ ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ಮರುನಾಮಕರಣವಾಯಿತು. ಭಾರತೀಯ ಉಕ್ಕು ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರ 1989ರಲ್ಲಿ ಇದನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಅಂಗಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಾಗಿ ಸೇರಿಸಿ ನಂತರ 1998 ರಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಲೀನಗೊಳಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿತು. ಸರ್ ಎಂ ವಿಶ್ವೇಶ್ವರಯ್ಯನವರ ನಿಸ್ವಾರ್ಥ ಸೇವೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮುಂದಾಲೋಚನೆಯಿಂದ ಭದ್ರಾವತಿಯ ಜೀವನಾಡಿಯಾಗಿ ಉಳಿದು ಲಕ್ಷಾಂತರ ಜನರಿಗೆ “ಬದುಕು ಮತ್ತು ಜೀವನ” ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿದೆ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಖಾನೆ ಎಂದರು.

ಪತ್ರಿಕಾ ಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವೇದವ್ಯಾಸ, ಬಿ.ಟಿ. ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸಗೌಡ, ಎನ್.ಟಿ. ಸತ್ಯನಾರಾಯಣ, ಎಸ್‌.ಎಸ್ ಶ್ರೀನಾಥ್ ನಾಗಭೂಷಣ್ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.

ಶನಿವಾರ ಪ್ರೆಸ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸುದ್ದಿಗಾರರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು, ಬಿಹಾರದ ನಿತೇಶ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅತೇ ಕಡಿಮ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಾ ಜಾತ ಗಣತಯ ದತ್ತೆoಶ್ವನುನ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಕರ್ನೇಟಕದಲ್ಲಾ ಜಾತ ಗಣತಯನುನ ಹೆಚ್ುು ರಾಜಕೇಯಗೊಳಿಸಲ್ಲಗಿದೆ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಜಾತ ಗಣತಯ ಕುರಿತಂತೆ ನಮಮ ಪ್ಕಷದ ಅಭಿಪ್ರರಯವನುನ ರ್ನವು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸುತೆದೆಾೇವೆ.

1. ಕರ್ನೇಟಕದಲ್ಲಾ ಜಾತ ಗಣತಯಾದ ದಿರ್ನಂಕಕ್ಕೂ ಈಗಿನ ದಿರ್ನಂಕಕ್ಕೂ 7-8 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಅಂತರವಿದುಾ, ಈ 7-8 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಾ ಜನಸಂಖ್ಯಯ ಗಣನಿೇಯವಾಗಿ ಏರಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.

2. ಹಂದುಳಿದ ವಗೇದ ಮೇಸಲ್ಲತಯಲ್ಲಾ 5 ಪ್ರವಗೇಗಳಿವೆ: Cat-1, Cat-2A, Cat-2B, Cat-3A, Cat-3B. ಆದರೆ ಎಚ್. ಕಂತರಾಜು ರವರ ಹಂದುಳಿದ ವಗೇದ ಆಯೇಗದ ರಚ್ನಯಲ್ಲಾ ಅಧ್ಯಕಷರು ಸ್ತೇರಿದಂತೆ ಐವರು ಸದಸಯರು ಕೆೇವಲ ಎರಡು ಪ್ರವಗೇಗಳಿಗೆ ಮಾತರ ಸಿೇಮತವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇನನನ 3 ಪ್ರವಗೇಗಳಿಗೆ ಆಯೇಗದಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರರತನಿದಯವನುನ ನಿೇಡಿರುವುದಿಲಾ. ಎಚ್ ಕಂತರಾಜುರವರ ಹಂದುಳಿದ ವಗೇದ ಆಯೇಗದ ರಚ್ನ ಸ್ತವೇಚ್ಛಾಚ್ಛರದಿಂದ ಮತುೆ ಪ್ಕಷ ಪ್ರತದಿಂದ ಕ್ಕಡಿದೆ. ಕೆೇವಲ ಎರಡು ಪ್ರವಗೇಗಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೇರಿದವರು ಇಡಿೇ ಕರ್ನೇಟಕದ ಜಾತ ಗಣತಯನುನ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
3. ಹಂದುಳಿದ ವಗೇಗಳ ಆಯೇಗ, ಹಂದುಳಿದ ವಗೇಗಳಿಗೆ ಮಾತರ ಸಿೇಮತವಾಗಿರಬೇಕೆ ವಿನಃ ಇಡಿೇ ಕರ್ನೇಟಕದ ಜಾತ ಗಣತಯಂತಹ ಸನಕಷಮವಾದ ಮತುೆ ಪ್ರಮುಖ್ವಾದ ವಿರ್ಯಕೊ ಹೇಗಬಾರದಿತುೆ.
4. ಸಕೇರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜಾತಗಳನ್ನನಳಗೊಂಡ ಸಮನವಯ ಸಮತಯ ಮನಲಕ ಜಾತ ಗಣತಯನುನ ಮಾಡಿಸಬೇಕಗಿತುೆ.
5. ಎಚ್ ಕಂತರಾಜುರವರ ಆಯೇಗ ಜಾತ ಗಣತಯ ಮಾಹತಯನುನ ಮೌಖಿಕವಾಗಿ ಕಲಹಾಕದೆ ಹಾಗು ಆಧಾರರಹತ, ದ್ದಖ್ಲರಹತ ಮತುೆ ನಿಖ್ರತೆಯಿಲಾದ ಜಾತ ಗಣತಯಾಗಿದೆ.

• ಸಿದಾರಾಮಯಯನವರು ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತರಯಾದ ನಂತರವೂ ಜಾತ ಗಣತಯ ಜಪ್ ಮಾಡುತೆದಾರು ಮತುೆ ಜಾತ ಗಣತಗೆ ಅಧಿಸನಚ್ನಯನುನ ಹರಡಿಸಿದರು.
• ಸಿದಾರಾಮಯಯನವರು ಜಾತ ಗಣತಯ ಅಂಕ ಅಂಶ್ಗಳು ಗೊತ್ತೆದ ತಕಷಣ ಜಾತ ಗಣತಯ ಮಾಹತಯನುನ ಉಗಾರಣದಲ್ಲಾ ಬಿಸಾಕುವುದರ ಮನಲಕ ತಮಮ ರಹಸಯ ಕಯೇಸನಚಿಯನುನ (Hidden Ageந்ட) ಕಯೇಗತಗೊಳಿಸಿದರು.
• ಸಿದಾರಾಮಯಯನವರು 2018 ರಿಂದ 2023 ರವರೆಗೆ, ಜಾತ ಗಣತಯ ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನಕೊ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಿಕವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಯತನಸುವುದಿಲಾ.
• ಸಿದಾರಾಮಯಯನವರು ಎರಡನೇ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತರಯಾಗಿ ಮತೆೆ ಜಾತ ಗಣತಯ ಜಪ್ ಶುರು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
• ಒಟ್ಟಾರೆ ದವಂದವ ನಿಲುವುಗಳು ಮತುೆ ರಹಸಯ ಕಯೇಸನಚಿಯನುನ (Hidden Agenda) ಹಂದಿರುವ ಸಿದಾರಾಮಯಯನವರು ಜಾತ ಗಣತಯ ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನಕೊ ತೊಡರುಗಾಲ್ಲಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಮತುೆ ಜಾತ ಗಣತಯ ಪ್ರಥಮ ವಿರೇಧಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
• ಸಿದಾರಾಮಯಯನವರು ಜಾತ ಗಣತಯ ವಿರ್ಯವನುನ ಜೇವಂತವಾಗಿರಿಸಿ ತಮಮ ರಾಜಕೇಯ ಬೇಳೆಕಳುಗಳನುನ ಬೇಯಿಸಿಕೊಳುುತೆದ್ದಾರೆ.
• ಎಚ್ ಕಂತರಾಜು ರವರು ಹೆೇಳಿ ಕೆೇಳಿ ಸಿದಾರಾಮಯಯನವರ ಕಟ್ಟಾ ಅನುಯಾಯಿ ಮತುೆ ಖಾಸಗಿ ವಕೇಲರು. ಎಚ್ ಕಂತರಾಜುರವರು ಸಿದಾರಾಮಯಯನವರ ಅಣತಯಂತೆ 2018ರ ವಿಧಾನಸಭೆ ಚ್ುರ್ನವರ್ಗಳು ನಡೆಯುವವರೆಗೆ ಜಾತ ಗಣತಯ ವರದಿಯನುನ ಸಕೇರಕೊ ಸಲ್ಲಾಸುವುದಿಲಾ. ಎಚ್ ಕಂತರಾಜುರವರಿಗೆ ಸಿದಾರಾಮಯಯನವರ ಅಣತಯೇ ಮುಖ್ಯವಾಗುತೆದೆಯೇ ವಿನಃ ರಾಜಯದ ಹತ ಮುಖ್ಯವಾಗುವುದಿ.

• 2018ಕೊ ಮೊದಲೇ ಜಾತ ಗಣತಯ ದತ್ತೆoಶ್ ಸೇರಿಕೆಯಾಗಿ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳಲ್ಲಾ ರಾರಾಜಸಿತು. ಜಾತ ಗಣತಯ ದತ್ತೆoಶ್ಗಳಲ್ಲಾ MLA ಕೆಷೇತರವಾರು ವಿವಿಧ್ ಜಾತಗಳ ಅಂಕ ಅಂಶ್ಗಳಿದಾವು. ಈ ಅಂಕ ಅಂಶ್ಗಳನುನ 2018ರ ಚ್ುರ್ನವರ್ಗಳಿಂದ ಹಡಿದು ಇತೆೇಚಿನವರೆಗೆ ಚುರ್ನವರ್ಗಳಲ್ಲಾ ರಾಜಕೇಯ ಲಕೂಚ್ಛರಕೊ ಬಳಸಿಕೊಳುಲ್ಲಗುತೆದೆ.
• ಜಾತ ಗಣತಯ ದತ್ತೆoಶ್ಗಳು ಎಚ್ ಕಂತರಾಜುರವರ ಆಯೇಗದಿಂದಲೇ ಸೇರಿಕೆಯಾಗಿವೆ. ನನನ ಬಳಿಯನ 18 MLA ಕೆಷೇತರಗಳ ಜಾತಗಣತಯ ದತ್ತೆoಶ್ ಇದೆ. ಅದನುನ ಈಗ ರ್ನನು ಮಾಧ್ಯಮದ ಬಂಧುಗಳ ಮನಲಕ ಸಾವೇಜನಿಕರಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಪೇಸುತೆದೆಾೇನ.
