Long before “music therapy” became a trending term, Ameya Dabli—renowned performer and founder of the Ekam Satt Foundation—was already harnessing its power. For nearly two decades, Ameya has been on a mission to deliver emotional relief through music, particularly to the brave hearts of India’s armed forces. With his 25-member live band, he has travelled across remote military bases, performing during significant events like Kargil Vijay Diwas and bringing solace to those who serve at the nation’s borders.

His selfless efforts have even drawn praise from the Chief of Defence Staff, General Anil Chauhan, who acknowledged the profound emotional impact of Ameya’s music on our soldiers.

Now, Ameya is taking his message of healing across the country through one of India’s biggest spiritual music tours—Krishnaa – Music, Bliss & Beyond. After successful shows in multiple cities, the concert is all set to enthral Bengaluru audiences at MLR Convention Centre on 26th July 2025, promising an experience that is not just musical, but deeply meditative.

“Music has always been a mirror to our emotions,” says Ameya. “In joy or in grief, we instinctively reach for it. Indian classical and devotional music, especially when experienced live, has the power to quiet the noise within. I’ve had mental health experts tell me how our renditions have helped patients feel more grounded—and that’s the real reward.”

He adds, “Krishnaa is more than a concert—it’s an invitation to reconnect with oneself through sound. I hope Bengaluru allows us to share this moment of collective healing.”

Programme by Hyundai Motor India Foundation (HMIF) and Samarthanam Trust for the disabled, marking a profound milestone in its journey towards a more inclusive society for people with disabilities. Under its ‘Samarth by Hyundai’ initiative, HMIF has pledged to distribute a total of 684 assistive devices over the next three years, encompassing a wide range of innovations from hearing aids, wheel chairs, digital kits for the visually impaired to bionic limbs and other devices. These technologically advanced assistive devices aim to enhance mobility, vision, hearing, and communication capabilities for the recipients.

The day-long conclave served as a platform for crucial dialogues revolving around topics such as enabling inclusion through assistive devices, challenges surrounding disability in India, along with investment in assistive technologies for para sports. In collaboration with the Bengaluru Traffic Police, the campaign strategically targeted some of the city’s busiest signals, including Silk Board and Hebbal signal, to engage with riders. Employing a humorous approach, RJ Amith and Viveka Rao initiated conversations with riders wearing half helmets, educating them on the critical significance of full helmets in ensuring safety on the roads.

Reflecting on the success of the initiative, RJ Amith shared, “We wanted to approach this serious issue in a light-hearted manner to effectively communicate the importance of full helmets. We spoke to a boy and girl where the boy was wearing the full helmet and the girl wasn’t wearing one. We asked the girl if the relationship is even worth it if the boy doesn’t care about her safety and wellbeing. Initially the boy was miffed and eventually understood what we were trying to say” Similarly an elderly man got down from his bike and bowed down to Yamaraj and said he won’t repeat his mistake of wearing a half helmet.”

Echoing similar sentiments, Viveka Rao added, “As artists, we believe in using every available platform for social good. It was heartening to see the impact our interactions had on riders and pedestrians alike. We hope to continue spreading awareness on crucial issues through such initiatives.”

The campaign received unwavering support from the Bengaluru Traffic Police, with Joint Commissioner Traffic MN Anucheth emphasizing, “Road safety is a collective responsibility, and initiatives like Yamaraja and Modern Chitragupta play a vital role in fostering a culture of safety awareness among citizens. We commend RJ Amith, Viveka Rao, and the entire team for their efforts in making Bengaluru’s roads safer.”
