Both the units are prominently situated in the city’s fastest-growing locations to ensure quality healthcare is easily accessible to all. Mahadevapura Unit has over 450 beds, while the Electronic City facility has 350 beds. Both facilities are equipped with 30 state-of-the-art operation theatres and over 170 outpatient consultation rooms (OPDs) to deliver the best medical care.

ರೇಡಿಯೇಷನ್ ಆಂಕಾಲಜಿ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥ ಮತ್ತು ಲೀಡ್ ಕನ್ಸಲ್ಟೆಂಟ್ ಡಾ. ಎಂ. ಎಸ್. ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯಪ್ಪ, “ಈ ಸಾಧನೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಬಹುಶಿಸ್ತೀಯ ತಜ್ಞರ ತಂಡದ ನೈಪುಣ್ಯತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಬದ್ಧತೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಆಕ್ಸಿಲರೇಟೆಡ್ ಪಾರ್ಶಿಯಲ್ ಬ್ರೆಸ್ಟ್ ಇರೇಡಿಯೇಷನ್ (APBI) ಮತ್ತು ಇನ್‌ಟ್ರಾ ಆಪರೇಟಿವ್ ಬೂಸ್ಟ್ ಥೆರಪಿ ಮೂಲಕ ಆರಂಭಿಕ ಹಂತದ ಸ್ತನ ಕ್ಯಾನ್ಸರ್ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯಾಪಕವಾಗಿ ಬಳಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ರೇಡಿಯೇಷನ್ ಆಂಕಾಲಜಿ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥ ಮತ್ತು ಲೀಡ್ ಕನ್ಸಲ್ಟೆಂಟ್ ಡಾ. ಎಂ. ಎಸ್. ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯಪ್ಪ, “ಈ ಸಾಧನೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಬಹುಶಿಸ್ತೀಯ ತಜ್ಞರ ತಂಡದ ನೈಪುಣ್ಯತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಬದ್ಧತೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. IOeRT ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಒಟ್ಟು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಾ ಅವಧಿಯನ್ನು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ, ರೋಗಿಯ ಜೀವನಮಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಉತ್ತಮಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತದೆ, ಮತ್ತು ದೇಹದ ಬಾಹ್ಯ ರೂಪ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಷಮತೆಯ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶಗಳನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾವು ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಪಡುತ್ತೇವೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಕೀರ್ಣ ಕ್ಯಾನ್ಸರ್‌ಗಳಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿರುವ ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ರೋಗಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಇದರ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನ

ಈ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಆಕ್ಸಿಲರೇಟೆಡ್ ಪಾರ್ಶಿಯಲ್ ಬ್ರೆಸ್ಟ್ ಇರೇಡಿಯೇಷನ್ (APBI) ಮತ್ತು ಇನ್‌ಟ್ರಾ ಆಪರೇಟಿವ್ ಬೂಸ್ಟ್ ಥೆರಪಿ ಮೂಲಕ ಆರಂಭಿಕ ಹಂತದ ಸ್ತನ ಕ್ಯಾನ್ಸರ್ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯಾಪಕವಾಗಿ ಬಳಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಎಪಿಬಿಐ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ, ಶಸ್ತ್ರಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದೇ ಬಾರಿ ವಿಕಿರಣವನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ, ಇದರಿಂದ ಶಸ್ತ್ರಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯ ನಂತರ ಅನೇಕ ರೇಡಿಯೇಷನ್‌ ಸೆಷನ್‌ಗಳ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. IOeRT ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಇದ್ದರೆ, ರೋಗಿಗಳು ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯವಾಗಿ 15 ರಿಂದ 20 ರೇಡಿಯೇಷನ್‌ ಸೆಷನ್‌ಗಳು ಅಥವಾ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ ಭೇಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಆದರೆ IOeRT ವಿಧಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಸ್ತ್ರಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಕಿರಣವನ್ನು ನೀಡುವುದರಿಂದ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಾ ವೆಚ್ಚ ಸುಮಾರು ಶೇಕಡಾ 50% ರಷ್ಟು ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗುತ್ತದೆ, ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಇದು ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯವಾಗಿ ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿಯೂ ಆಗಿದೆ. ಬೂಸ್ಟ್ ಥೆರಪಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ, IOeRT ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯಿಂದ ಸುಮಾರು 25% ರಷ್ಟು ವೆಚ್ಚ ಕಡಿತ ಸಾಧಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ, ಈ ವಿಧಾನವು ಉತ್ತಮ ದೇಹದ ಬಾಹ್ಯ ರೂಪ (ಕಾಸ್ಮೆಟಿಕ್ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶ) ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ, ಚರ್ಮದ ಹಾನಿ ಬಹಳ ಕಡಿಮೆ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸೋಂಕಿನ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವೂ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ, ಮಧುಮೇಹ ಅಥವಾ ಹಿಂದೆ ಕಿಮೋಥೆರಪಿ ಪಡೆದಿರುವಂತಹ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಅಪಾಯದ ರೋಗಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸಹ ಉತ್ತಮ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶಗಳು ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿವೆ.

ಆಸ್ಟರ್ ವೈಟ್‌ಫೀಲ್ಡ್ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯ ಆಂಕಾಲಜಿ ತಂಡವು IOeRT ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದ 113 ಸ್ತನ ಕ್ಯಾನ್ಸರ್ ರೋಗಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಸಂಶೋಧನೆ ಬಹಳ ಉತ್ಸಾಹಭರಿತ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶಗಳನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿದೆ. ಈ ಅಧ್ಯಯನದಲ್ಲಿ ಗ್ರೇಡ್ 3 ಚರ್ಮದ ಹಾನಿಯ ಯಾವುದೇ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳು ಕಂಡುಬಂದಿಲ್ಲ ಹಾಗೂ ಶಸ್ತ್ರಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯ ನಂತರದ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳಾದ ಸೀರೋಮಾ ಮತ್ತು ಸೋಂಕು ಬಹಳಷ್ಟು ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದವು. ಆಸ್ಟರ್ ವೈಟ್‌ಫೀಲ್ಡ್ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ ಒಲಿಗೋರಿಕರೆಂಟ್ ಟ್ಯೂಮರ್‌ಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ರೆಟ್ರೋಪೆರಿಟೋನಿಯಲ್ ಸಾರ್ಕೋಮಾಸ್‌ಗಳಿಗೆ IOeRT ಬಳಸಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ, ಈ ವಿಧಾನವು ಬಹುಮುಖವಾಗಿದ್ದು ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯವಾಗಿ ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಸಾಬೀತುಪಡಿಸಿದೆ. ಈ ಸಂಶೋಧನೆಯ ಫಲಿತಾಂಶಗಳನ್ನು ವಿಶ್ವದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಕ್ಯಾನ್ಸರ್ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ವೇದಿಕೆಯೊಂದಾದ ಫೆಡರೇಶನ್ ಆಫ್ ಏಷಿಯನ್ ಆರ್ಗನೈಸೇಷನ್ಸ್ ಫಾರ್ ರೇಡಿಯೇಷನ್ ಆಂಕಾಲಜಿ (FARO) ನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

GLOBOCAN ವರದಿ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ 2040ರೊಳಗೆ ಕ್ಯಾನ್ಸರ್ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳು ಸುಮಾರು ಶೇ 57.5 ರಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆ ಇದೆ. ಈ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, IOeRT ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನವು ದೇಶದ ಹೆಚ್ಚುತ್ತಿರುವ ಕ್ಯಾನ್ಸರ್ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗೆ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪರಿಹಾರವಾಗಿ ಹೊರಹೊಮ್ಮಿದೆ. ಈ ವಿಧಾನವು ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಸ್ತನ ಕ್ಯಾನ್ಸರ್, ಗ್ಯಾಸ್ಟ್ರೋಇಂಟೆಸ್ಟೈನಲ್ ಕ್ಯಾನ್ಸರ್, ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ವಾಸಕೋಶ ಕ್ಯಾನ್ಸರ್‌ಗಳಂತಹ ಸಂಕೀರ್ಣ ಕ್ಯಾನ್ಸರ್‌ಗಳ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿ. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಖರತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಶೀಘ್ರ ಮಧ್ಯಸ್ಥಿಕೆ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಪಾತ್ರ ವಹಿಸುವುದರಿಂದ, ಯಶಸ್ವಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗಾಗಿ ಇದು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಉಪಯುಕ್ತವಾಗಿದೆ.

Over the years, Gunasheela has achieved several firsts in reproductive medicine. ಖ್ಯಾತ ಸ್ತ್ರೀರೋಗ ತಜ್ಞೆ ದಿವಂಗತ ಡಾ. ಸುಲೋಚನಾ ಗುಣಶೀಲ ಹಾಗೂ ಸರ್ಜನ್ ಡಾ. ಮಾವಹಳ್ಳಿ ಗುಣಶೀಲ ಅವರಿಂದ 1975ರಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿತವಾದ ಗುಣಶೀಲ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯು ಇಂದು ಸಂತಾನೋತ್ಪತ್ತಿ (ಐ.ವಿ.ಎಫ್) ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ತ್ರೀರೋಗ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದೇಶದಾದ್ಯಂತ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ದಿ ಪಡೆದಿದೆ. 1988 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಗುಣಶೀಲ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯು ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಭಾರತದ ಮೊದಲ ಪ್ರನಾಳ ಶಿಶುವಿನ ಜನನಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗುವುದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲೇ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ದಾಖಲೆಗೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಮೊದಲ್ಗೊಂಡು ಸಂತಾನ ಸಾಫಲ್ಯ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಗುಣಶೀಲ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾ ಸಾಗಿತು.

ಸಾಧನೆ: ಕಳೆದ ಐದು ದಶಕಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಐದು ದಶಕಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಗುಣಶೀಲ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯು ಸಂತಾನ ಸಾಫಲ್ಯ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಲವು ಪ್ರಥಮಗಳನ್ನು ಸಾಧಿಸಿದೆ. ಭಾರತದ ಮೊದಲ ಇನ್-ಹೌಸ್ ಫರ್ಟಿಲಿಟಿ ಜೆನೆಟಿಕ್ಸ್ ಪ್ರಯೋಗಾಲಯ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಇದೇ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ. ಈ ಪ್ರಯೋಗಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಐ.ವಿ.ಎಫ್ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗೂ ಮೊದಲು ಸುಧಾರಿತ ವಂಶವಾಹಿ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಕ್ಯಾನ್ಸರ್ ರೋಗಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತಾನ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯ ಕಾಯ್ದಿರಿಸುವ ಸೌಕರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸಮಾಜ ಸೇವೆಯ ಸ್ವರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯು ಒದಗಿಸುತ್ತ ಬಂದಿದೆ. 2004ರಲ್ಲಿ ಗುಣಶೀಲ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತದ ಮೊದಲ ಇನ್ ವಿಟ್ರೋ ಮ್ಯಾಚುರೇಷನ್ (ಐ.ವಿ.ಎಂ) ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯಾಧಾರಿತ ಶಿಶು ಜನಿಸಿದ್ದು ಕೂಡಾ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಮೈಲುಗಲ್ಲಾಗಿದೆ. 2013 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಎಂಬ್ರಿಯೋಸ್ಕೋಪ್ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನದ ಮೂಲಕ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲೇ ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಗರ್ಭಧಾರಣೆ ಆಯಿತು. ಈ ತಾಯಿಗೆ ಅವಳಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಜನಿಸಿದವು.

Cataracts account for over 60% of preventable vision impairment among older adults in India, making it one of the country’s most pressing eye health challenges. While awareness around early detection and treatment is improving, many patients still delay surgery due to fear or misinformation.
