The grand launch event was held today at The Chancery Pavilion, Residency Road, Bengaluru.

Spread across 25 acres, Vintage Bangalore features 75 meticulously planned quarter-acre farmland plots, thoughtfully designed to recreate the charm, greenery, and community lifestyle that once defined old Bangalore. The project seeks to revive the city’s nostalgic garden-city character while offering modern farmland ownership and sustainable farmhouse living.

At the heart of the development lies a one-acre lifestyle clubhouse featuring a restaurant, coffee shop, guest cottages, landscaped gardens, and a variety of indoor and outdoor recreational amenities. The project is envisioned as a destination where families can reconnect with nature, community, and a slower pace of life.

Each plot offers approximately 11,000 sq. ft. of land, with nearly 30% designated for farmhouse construction and the balance dedicated to curated landscaping and plantation. As part of the project’s unique development concept, the periphery of every plot will be planted with 25 native flowering plants reminiscent of old Bangalore, including Bougainvillea, Mayflower, and other traditional flowering varieties. In addition, 15 all-season fruit-bearing trees will be planted within each plot, creating a vibrant orchard-style environment that reflects Bengaluru’s rich horticultural heritage.

The soft launch event was witnessed over 150 invited guests, including landowners, valuers, angel investors, prospective buyers, industry professionals, and their families.

The occasion also marked a strategic collaboration between Harvest Harven Terrain and Verzont, bringing together expertise in community-driven farmland development and sustainable real estate creation.

The project was officially unveiled by Sujith Joseph, Sridhar, director’s of Harvest Harven Terrain and Hithesh Jain, Karthik Nandhakumar, directors of Verzont, who presented their vision, master plan, and development roadmap for Vintage Bangalore.

Speaking about the project, the promoters emphasized that Vintage Bangalore is more than a farmland investment. It is an effort to recreate the essence of old Bangalore—its tree-lined avenues, flowering landscapes, orchard living, and close-knit community culture—within a thoughtfully planned and professionally managed farmland ecosystem.

With its blend of heritage-inspired landscaping, sustainable development, lifestyle amenities, and long-term investment potential, Vintage Bangalore is poised to become a landmark destination for those seeking a meaningful connection with nature while preserving the timeless spirit of Bangalore.

As Bengaluru experiences rapid population growth and rising urban pollution, urbanites are increasingly seeking weekend sanctuaries. Vintage Bangalore addresses this shift, offering families a private, eco-conscious retreat where they can embrace the “culture of cultivation” and reconnect with nature without sacrificing modern luxuries.

INDIA’S RISE AS THE NEXT GLOBAL BEAUTY POWERHOUSE https://newxpressnews.com/indias-rise-as-the-next-global-beauty-powerhouse/ https://newxpressnews.com/indias-rise-as-the-next-global-beauty-powerhouse/#respond Sun, 14 Jun 2026 14:51:52 +0000 https://newxpressnews.com/?p=3191 Bengaluru: India is rapidly emerging as one of the world’s most attractive destinations for the beauty and personal care industry, drawing the attention of global brands, manufacturers, ingredient suppliers and investors seeking growth in a dynamic consumer market.

Against this backdrop, Cosmetica 2026, India’s premier cosmetics, beauty and personal care exhibition, will be held from June 19-21, 2026, at Palace Grounds, Bengaluru, bringing together stakeholders from across the beauty value chain. The exhibition will be inaugurated by actor Nidhi Agarwal; actor and President of the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce, Dr. Jayamala and the President of the Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI), Uma Reddy.

Beauty and Personal Care Market Worth USD 30 billion
The Indian beauty and personal care market, estimated to be worth over USD 30 billion, is projected to grow at a robust pace over the coming years, driven by rising disposable incomes, increasing urbanisation, digital commerce and evolving consumer preferences. With one of the world’s youngest populations and a rapidly expanding middle class, India is becoming a key growth engine for the global cosmetics industry.

“The global beauty industry is increasingly looking towards India not merely as a consumer market but as a strategic hub for innovation, manufacturing and product development. Cosmetica 2026 will serve as a platform to connect brands, suppliers, distributors, retailers and beauty professionals, while showcasing the immense opportunities that India offers,” said Ceyril Perira, MD, Triune Exhibitors Pvt. Ltd.

Growth opportunities span multiple categories including premium skincare, colour cosmetics, fragrances, men’s grooming products and natural, herbal and Ayurvedic beauty solutions. The expansion of e-commerce, quick commerce and social commerce platforms has enabled brands to reach consumers in Tier-II and Tier-III cities, creating unprecedented opportunities for market penetration and brand building.
The event will also spotlight emerging trends such as clean beauty, sustainable packaging, cruelty-free formulations, beauty technology and personalised skincare solutions, which are increasingly influencing purchasing decisions among Gen Z and millennial consumers.

At the same time, industry experts will deliberate on key challenges facing the sector, including regulatory compliance, counterfeit products, supply chain resilience, raw material price volatility and intensifying competition. Discussions and networking sessions during the exhibition will focus on strategies to address these challenges while sustaining growth.
The key segments at Cosmetica 2026 are Cosmetics & Finished Products; Ingredients & Formulations; Packaging & Machinery; Professional Salon & Spa and Beauty Tech & Digital. The last segment will see AI-driven personalization tools; Virtual try-on technology; Digital marketing services; and E-commerce Solutions.

Bengaluru Bravehearts Bring World-Class Rugby – Olympic Medallists, World Champions and India’s Finest Unite for RPL Season 2 https://newxpressnews.com/bengaluru-bravehearts-bring-world-class-rugby-olympic-medallists-world-champions-and-indias-finest-unite-for-rpl-season-2/ https://newxpressnews.com/bengaluru-bravehearts-bring-world-class-rugby-olympic-medallists-world-champions-and-indias-finest-unite-for-rpl-season-2/#respond Thu, 11 Jun 2026 15:14:52 +0000 https://newxpressnews.com/?p=3182 Bengaluru, June 11: The Bengaluru Bravehearts are back, and the city has every reason to pay attention. Co-owned by Ranjan Pai (Chairman, Manipal Education and Medical Group) and Sanjith Shetty (Chairman, Soham Infrastructure and CEO and Founder of Miror), the Bengaluru Bravehearts today unveiled their squad for the HSBC Rugby Premier League Powered by Avid – to be played at Gachibowli Stadium, Hyderabad, from June 16 to 28, 2026. Six franchises will compete over thirteen days of rugby sevens, with the Bravehearts entering the tournament as one of the most credentialled squads ever assembled under an Indian franchise banner.

Rugby is no longer a sport the world plays while India watches. According to the largest market research study ever conducted by World Rugby, the sport has nearly 800 million followers globally, with India counted among the top emerging markets – recording 25.7 million fans and a fanbase growth of over 50 per cent since rugby’s inclusion at the Olympic Games. The launch of India’s HSBC Rugby Premier League Powered by Avid in 2025 – a franchise-based sevens league designed for modern broadcast audiences – laid the foundation for what 2026 is now expanding upon, with the introduction of a women’s competition running alongside the men’s competition for the first time. India is not catching up to rugby. Rugby is arriving in India – and Bengaluru has a front-row seat.

The Bravehearts’ Season 2 squad is the clearest proof of that arrival. Headlining is Akuila Rokolisoa, a 2018 Rugby World Cup Sevens winner and 2022 Commonwealth Games bronze medallist, who topped the 2022–23 World Rugby Sevens Series scoring charts with 415 points and has since entered the elite 100-try club. Alongside him: Shilton Van Wyk, Paris 2024 Olympic bronze medallist and Springbok Sevens Player of the Year; Henry Hutchison, three-time Olympian (Rio, Tokyo, Paris) and Australia’s most-capped men’s sevens player ever; Ngarohi McGarvey-Black, Paris 2024 silver medallist with over 150 international appearances; Ryan Apps, one of the most explosive wingers on the HSBC SVNS circuit; and Motu Opetai, the Samoan who scored the very first try of men’s rugby sevens at the Paris Games. Between them, this group has stood on Olympic podiums representing four different nations.

The Indian core of the squad carries its own weight. All Indian players in the Bravehearts squad have represented India at international level – whether in sevens or fifteens. Rajdeep Saha from West Bengal returns alongside Akash Balmiki, one of the handful of Indians to have played professional club rugby abroad. Their stories are not footnotes. They are the point.
The Bravehearts’ coaching staff brings genuine international credentials. Francisco (Paco) Hernandez (Spain), Head Coach, built Spain’s national sevens programme into a recognised force on the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series, known for his high-tempo, tactically precise coaching style. Terence Joseph serves as Assistant Coach, bringing deep technical expertise in sevens structures and player development. Completing the setup is Manuel Silero (Spain) as Strength and Conditioning Coach. Together, the three bring the tactical intelligence and physical preparation to match the squad they’ve assembled.
“Bengaluru doesn’t ask where you’re from,” said Sanjith Shetty, franchise co-owner and primary spokesperson. “It asks how you show up. This squad shows up.

Rugby sevens is the fastest-growing format in global sport – high-action, short, built for social media, and increasingly the gateway through which new fans discover the sport in markets like India, China and the USA. The Bravehearts are Bengaluru’s team in that story. Fourteen players. Five continents. One city.
Bengaluru, show up.

Vikassheel Insaan Party Officially Enters Karnataka Politics: Founder Mukesh Sahani calls for the power of the exploited and backward classes https://newxpressnews.com/vikassheel-insaan-party-officially-enters-karnataka-politics-founder-mukesh-sahani-calls-for-the-power-of-the-exploited-and-backward-classes/ https://newxpressnews.com/vikassheel-insaan-party-officially-enters-karnataka-politics-founder-mukesh-sahani-calls-for-the-power-of-the-exploited-and-backward-classes/#respond Sun, 07 Jun 2026 16:50:16 +0000 https://newxpressnews.com/?p=3173 Bengaluru, June 7: With the goal of securing political representation for the exploited, backward classes, and nomadic communities, the ‘Vikassheel Insaan Party’ (VIP) officially entered Karnataka politics on Sunday.

Former Bihar Minister and party founder Mukesh Sahani officially launched the state unit of the party at a press conference and convention held at a private hotel in Bengaluru. The party expressed confidence in emerging as a new political force in the state by contesting in the upcoming Gram, Taluk, and Zilla Panchayat elections.

Struggle for Laborers’ Rights.
Addressing the event, party founder Mukesh Sahani recalled his impoverished background and his journey of political struggle. He stated that having been born into a fisherman’s family and having grown up working in Mumbai for a daily wage of just thirty rupees, he entered politics for the rights and power of the exploited society. He clarified that his fight will not stop until the fishermen and backward communities—known by hundreds of names across the country including Nishad, Koli, and Mallah—get appropriate reservation and representation.

Thundering that he has never compromised for the sake of power, he defended his decision not to compromise with the BJP even if it meant losing his ministerial position. He poignantly remarked that even if they live in a hut, they will remain kings (Badshahs), but they will never be slaves in anyone’s palace for the sake of power.
Partnership Proportionate to Population

Sahani clarified that the VIP party, which is part of the ‘I.N.D.I.A’ alliance at the national level, supports Rahul Gandhi’s ideology that reservation and power should be shared according to the population (“Jiski Jitni Sankhya Bhari, Uski Utni Hissedari”). He announced that after the upcoming Uttar Pradesh elections, an extensive ‘Sankalpa Yatra’ will be undertaken across Karnataka to unite the exploited communities in every corner of the state. He expressed the inclination to build a strong organization encompassing people of all castes and religions under the leadership of the party’s state Vice-President, B.K. Mohan Kumar.

Five Assurances for the Upliftment of Backward Classes.
Speaking at the convention, the party’s State Vice-President B.K. Mohan Kumar said that the VIP party is a ray of hope for the backward communities who are being used merely as a vote bank. On this occasion, he announced the five major assurances of the party. Their main goal is to formulate housing and employment schemes for poverty eradication among the most backward and nomadic castes, provide compulsory education and health guarantee schemes, and ensure mandatory political representation for underprivileged communities from local bodies to the Parliament. In addition to this, he announced the significant resolve to improve the standard of living of the exploited by developing their residential areas, and to establish and develop Mutts and Peethas at the taluk and district levels for the cultural and spiritual upliftment of the communities.

Support of Saints and Seers.

This grand inaugura convention witnessed unprecedented support from various pontiffs, saints, and seers of the state. More than one hundred and fifty Gurujis, many dignitaries including retired Delhi Commissioner B.K. Singh, and national leaders who arrived from Bihar were present. An appeal was made to the pontiffs on this occasion to support the VIP party, which is the voice of the exploited, and to guide the society forward.

Mana Projects Introduces Home Exchange Programme to Simplify Home Upgrades for Buyers https://newxpressnews.com/mana-projects-introduces-home-exchange-programme-to-simplify-home-upgrades-for-buyers/ https://newxpressnews.com/mana-projects-introduces-home-exchange-programme-to-simplify-home-upgrades-for-buyers/#respond Wed, 27 May 2026 07:14:25 +0000 https://newxpressnews.com/?p=3145 Bengaluru, May 27: As homebuyers increasingly seek larger homes, better amenities, and more thoughtfully planned communities, the process of upgrading often becomes complicated by the challenge of selling an existing property while securing a new one. Addressing this gap, Mana Projects has introduced its Home Exchange Programme, a customer-first initiative designed to make the transition into a new home faster, smoother, and more convenient.

The programme offers a structured and transparent solution for customers looking to move into any Mana residence by simplifying the buying and selling cycle. It is applicable for homeowners with apartments in Bengaluru, while allowing participation from buyers who may currently be residing in other cities or even overseas. As an ongoing initiative across existing and upcoming Mana projects, it is designed to support quality conscious lifestyle upgrade-driven demand in a more consistent and accessible manner.

Under the initiative, customers can exchange their current property for a new Mana home through an evaluation process that delivers initial value estimates within approximately 48 hours, significantly reducing waiting periods and enabling faster decision-making. The customer gets paid up to 80 percent of the evaluated value even before selling that unit and the balance paid once its sold, which is then adjusted against the booking value of the new Mana residence based on the applicable payment structure. Customers can also secure bookings through post-dated cheques, offering additional flexibility while completing the transaction process.

The process is designed to ensure clarity, efficiency, and timely progression at every stage. It begins with a qualification phase completed within 24 hours, followed by an initial virtual offer issued within the next 48 hours. Property inspection is subsequently scheduled at the seller’s convenience, after which a final offer is presented within a further 48 hours. Upon acceptance, legal due diligence is completed within approximately 30 days, resulting in a structured and time-bound experience for customers.

Commenting on the initiative, Mr. D Kishore Reddy, CMD, Mana Projects, said, “Homebuyers today are looking for smarter and more convenient ways to upgrade their lifestyle, but the process of selling an existing home while booking a new one often creates unnecessary delays and uncertainty. With the Home Exchange Programme, we are simplifying this journey by offering customers a seamless pathway to move into a new Mana home through a faster evaluation and booking process. By enabling value adjustment of the existing home and offering flexible payment options, we are making the transition more practical, transparent, and financially comfortable. This initiative reflects our commitment to creating solutions that make homeownership easier and more customer-centric.”

The programme is especially relevant for working professionals, growing families, and quality conscious lifestyle upgrade-driven buyers, seeking 2, 3, and 4 BHK homes within well-planned residential communities. With offerings across select projects and price segments up to approximately INR 4 crore, the initiative is aligned with the evolving preferences of urban homebuyers looking for larger homes, better amenities, and stronger community infrastructure.

With the Home Exchange Programme, Mana Projects continues to strengthen its customer-first approach by combining thoughtful development with practical solutions that address real homebuyer needs. As the company expands its residential portfolio across Bengaluru, the initiative reflects its larger vision of making every stage of homeownership simpler, more transparent, and more accessible.
