More than 190 enthusiastic volunteers gathered for the event, proving the strength of community-driven action to combat climate change. With Smarsh India’s support through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program – Parivartan, the effort represents a powerful example of corporate, non-profit, and government collaboration working together for environmental restoration.

Recognising the crucial role played by forest watchers in safeguarding these vulnerable ecosystems, Ruva Foundation distributed essential safety gear, including jackets, boots, and torchlights, to enhance the safety and effectiveness of these frontline protectors. A carefully designed maintenance plan has also been set in place, including regular monitoring, watering schedules, and protection against grazing, ensuring the saplings have the best chance of thriving and contributing to the restoration of the local environment for years to come.

ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಧೋರಣೆಯಿಂದ ಚಾಲಕರು ಆತ್ಮಹತ್ಯೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾಗಿದೆ. ದರ ತಾರತಮ್ಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಓಲಾ, ಉಬರ್ ಗೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ನೋಟಿಸ್ ನೀಡಿ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟನೆ ಕೇಳಿದೆ. ಚಾಲಕರ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳಿಗೆ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರವೂ ಕೂಡ ನೇರ ಹೊಣೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಬೇಡಿಕೆ ಈಡೇರದಿದ್ದರೆ ಉಗ್ರ ಹೋರಾಟ ಮಾಡುವುದಾಗಿ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.

ಸ್ನೇಹಜೀವಿ ಚಾಲಕರ ಟ್ರೇಡ್ ಯೂನಿಯನ್ ರಾಜ್ಯಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಸಂತೋಷ್ ಕುಮಾರ್, ರಾಜ್ಯ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ರಾಜುಕನ್ನಡಿಗ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಸಾರಿಗೆ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಎಷ್ಟೇ ಬಾರಿ ಮನವಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರೂ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವಾಗುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಕ್ಷುಲ್ಲಕ ಕಾರಣಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ ಚಾಲಕರಿಗೆ ಅನ್ಯಾಯ ಎಸಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇಂತಹ ಕಾನೂನು ಬಾಹಿರ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲು ಉನ್ನತಮಟ್ಟದ ಸಭೆ ಕರೆದು ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ಬಗೆಹರಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿದರು.

ಈ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಭಿಯಾನವು ನಿರ್ದಿಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಉತ್ತರ ಕೇರಳಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಖ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಬೇಕಲ್, ವಯನಾಡ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕೋಳಿಕ್ಕೋಡ್ ಗಳಿಗೆ ಆದ್ಯತೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದು ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಪಾರ ಸುಧಾರಿಸಿದ ಮೂಲಸೌಕರ್ಯಗಳ ಕಡಿಮೆ ಅರಿವಿನ ತಾಣಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸೇರ್ಪಡೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಎಂದರು.

ಈ ಅಭಿಯಾನವು ಕೇರಳವನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಅಸಂಖ್ಯ ಛಾಯೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಲಿದ್ದು ಇದು ಈ ತಾಣಗಳಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಜ್ಯವು ಒದಗಿಸುವ ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಪ್ರವಾಸೋದ್ಯಮ ಉತ್ಪನ್ನಗಳಿಗ ವಿಸಿಬಿಲಿಟಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವ ಆವಿಷ್ಕಾರಕ ಉತ್ತೇಜನ ಕಾರ್ಯತಂತ್ರವಾಗಿದೆ ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಮೂಲ ನಗರಗಳಿಂದ ಸಂಭವನೀಯ ಸಂದರ್ಶಕರನ್ನು ನೇರವಾಗಿ ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಶ್ರಿ ರಿಯಾಸ್ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರನ್ನು ಸೆಳೆಯುವ ಹೊಸ ಆಕರ್ಷಣೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಲಿ-ಟೂರಿಸಂ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮುದ್ರದ ವಿಮಾನದ ಉಪಕ್ರಮಗಳಿದ್ದು ಅವು ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿನ ತಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿತ ಮತ್ತು ಸುಲಭವಾಗಿ ಲಭ್ಯವಾಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತವೆ ಎಂದು ಕೇರಳ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಬಿಜು ಕೆ. ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಹೊಸ ಉತ್ಪನ್ನಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಸಂಪತ್ತುಗಳಾದ ಕಡಲತೀರಗಳು, ಗಿರಿಧಾಮಗಳು, ದೋಣಿಮನೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಹಿನ್ನೀರಿನ ವಲಯವು ಸಂದರ್ಶಕರ ಅನುಭವದ ಪೂರ್ಣತೆಯನ್ನು ಎತ್ತರಿಸಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಶ್ರೀ ಬಿಜು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಶಾಂತ ನೈಸರ್ಗಿಕ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯ, ಉಜ್ವಲ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀಮಂತ ಪರಂಪರೆಗೆ ಖ್ಯಾತಿ ಪಡೆದಿರುವ ಕೇರಳ ತನ್ನ ಸಂದರ್ಶಕರಿಗೆ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಸಂತೋಷ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ರಂಜಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ರಾಜಧಾನಿ ನಗರವು ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 15ರಿಂದ 21ರವರೆಗೆ ಕನಕಕ್ಕುನ್ನು ಪ್ಯಾಲೇಸ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಶಾಗಂಧಿ ನೃತ್ಯೋತ್ಸವ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ್ದು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತದ ಮೂಲೆ ಮೂಲೆಯ ಖ್ಯಾತ ನೃತ್ಯಗಾರರು ಮೋಹಿನಿಯಾಟ್ಟಂ, ಕಥಕ್, ಕೂಚಿಪುಡಿ, ಭರತನಾಟ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಮಣಿಪುರಿ ನೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ” ಎಂದು ಕೇರಳ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಪ್ರವಾಸೋದ್ಯಮ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸಿಖಾ ಸುರೇಂದ್ರನ್ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಕೇರಳ ಲಿಟರೇಚರ್ ಫೆಸ್ಟಿವಲ್ (ಕೆ.ಎಲ್.ಎಫ್.) ಗಮನಾರ್ಹ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಜನವರಿ 23-26ರವರೆಗೆ ಕೋಳಿಕ್ಕೋಡ್ ಸಮುದ್ರತೀರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಉತ್ಸವವು ಸಮಾಜದ ವೈವಿಧ್ಯಮಯ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯ ವಿಸ್ತಾರ ಶ್ರೇಣಿಯ ಲೇಖಕರು, ಕಲಾವಿದರು, ನಟರು, ಸೆಲೆಬ್ರಿಟಿಗಳು, ಚಿಂತಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಆಕ್ಟಿವಿಸ್ಟ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ಒಗ್ಗೂಡಿಸಲಿದ್ದು ಓದುಗರು ಮತ್ತು ಲೇಖಕರ ನಡುವೆ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ವೃದ್ಧಿಸಲಿದೆ. ಕೆ.ಎಲ್.ಎಫ್. 12ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ದೇಶಗಳ 400ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಭಾಷಣಕಾರರನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದು ಕೋಳಿಕ್ಕೋಡ್ ನಗರದ ಐದು ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ 200 ಅಧಿವೇಶನಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಯುತ್ತವೆ.

ಐಷಾರಾಮ ಮತ್ತು ವಿರಾಮವನ್ನು ಸಂಯೋಜಿಸುವ ಕೇರಳವು ಡೆಸ್ಟಿನೇಷನ್ ವೆಡ್ಡಿಂಗ್ ಮತ್ತು ಎಂಐಸಿಇ (ಮೀಟಿಂಗ್ಸ್, ಇನ್ಸೆಂಟಿವ್ಸ್, ಕಾನ್ಫರೆನ್ಸಸ್ ಅಂಡ್ ಎಕ್ಸಿಬಿಷನ್ಸ್) ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಆದ್ಯತೆಯ ಕೇಂದ್ರವಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ದಾಖಲೆಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಭಾರತೀಯರು ಮತ್ತು ವಿದೇಶಿಯರು ಕೇರಳಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ತನ್ನ ಅತ್ಯಾಕರ್ಷಕ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳು, ವಿಶ್ವಮಟ್ಟದ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಆಧುನಿಕತೆಯ ಸರಿಸಾಟಿ ಇರದ ಸಂಯೋಜನೆಯಿಂದ ಈ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಅನುಭವ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ಈವೆಂಟ್ ಪ್ಲಾನರ್ ಗಳು, ದಂಪತಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಕಾರ್ಪೊರೇಟ್ ಗ್ರಾಹಕರನ್ನು ಸೆಳೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಕೇರಳ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಪ್ರವಾಸೋದ್ಯಮ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕಿ ಸಿಖಾ ಸುರೇಂದ್ರನ್ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಈ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ದೋಣಿಮನೆಗಳು, ಕಾರಾವಾನ್ ವಸತಿ, ಪ್ಲಾಂಟೇಷನ್ ಭೇಟಿಗಳು, ಜಂಗಲ್ ರೆಸಾರ್ಟ್ ಗಳು, ಹೋಮ್ ಸ್ಟೇಗಳು, ಆಯುರ್ವೇದ ಆಧರಿತ ವೆಲ್ ನೆಸ್ ಪರಿಹಾರಗಳು, ಸಾಹಸ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಚಾರಣ ಒಳಗೊಂಡು ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ನಡೆದಾಟಗಳಿಗೆ ಖ್ಯಾತಿ ಪಡೆದಿದೆ.

ಕೇರಳವು ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರ ಆಗಮನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತೀವ್ರ ಏರುಗತಿ ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿದ್ದು 2022ರಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಂಕ್ರಾಮಿಕ ಪೂರ್ವದ ಮಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಮೀರುತ್ತಿದ್ದು 2023ರಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಖಲೆ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳವಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳವು 2024ರಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಂದುವರಿದಿದ್ದು ಮೊದಲ ಸೆಮಿಸ್ಟರ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ (ಜನವರಿ-ಜೂನ್) ಒಟ್ಟು 1,08,57,181 ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರು ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದು ಈ ವರ್ಷ ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಪೂರ್ವ ಮಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಏರಿಕೆಯಾಗುವ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಇದ್ದು ಅದು ರಜಾಋತುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಬುಕಿಂಗ್ ಗಳಿಂದ ಸಾಬೀತಾಗಿದೆ.

ಬೇಸಿಗೆಯ ರಜಾದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳದಿಂದ ಕೇರಳ ಟೂರಿಸಂ ಪ್ರವಾಸದ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರ ಜಾಲ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ್ದು ಬಿ2ಬಿ ರೋಡ್ ಶೋಗಳಿಂದ ವಿಸ್ತಾರ ಗ್ರಾಹಕರಿಗೆ ಹೊಸ ಉತ್ಪನ್ನಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡುವುದನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದು ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರ ಮೇಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲಿದೆ.

ಜನವರಿ 21ರಂದು ಹೈದರಾಬಾದ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿ2ಬಿ ಟ್ರಾವೆಲ್ ಮೀಟ್ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿದ್ದು ಈ ಅಭಿಯಾನವು ಜನವರಿ- ಮಾರ್ಚ್ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಹಮದಾಬಾದ್, ಚಂಡೀಗಢ, ದೆಹಲಿ, ಜೈಪುರ, ಚೆನ್ನೈ ಮತ್ತು ಕೊಲ್ಕತಾಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿ2ಬಿ ಸಭೆಗಳ ಸರಣಿ ಕಾಣಲಿದ್ದು ಹಲವಾರು ಪರಿವರ್ತನೀಯ ಉಪಕ್ರಮಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಜನಪ್ರಿಯ ತಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರವಾಸೋದ್ಯಮ ಮತ್ತು ಆತಿಥ್ಯ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಮುಂಚೂಣಿಯ ಪಾಲುದಾರರ ಮುಂದೆ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಲಿದೆ.
